In week 1 of our class, we will be getting started with our 10-week exploration centered around Philip K Dick's novels. We'll be discussing how the class is set up and what we'll be doing in our class sessions, common philosophical themes running through Dick's novels, and the roles that various ideas from philosophy, theology, and psychology have in his works.
