In Week 2 of our class, we will now be moving into the narrative that MacIntyre outlines for how we wound up in the present situation we inhabit, which for him is tied up with what he calls the "Enlightenment project". It's failure to provide a universally accepted and shared morality after a number of different iterations places us into a new situation in late modernity.
